There is no doubt that 2012 continues to offer encouraging results for the area, classic and well-made wines with excellent prospects for the future. While slightly contracted at the beginning, the aroma then typically evolves, which in wines from this area means few floral components and a lot of vegetal ones (anise and fennel). The bouquet is very light and elegant with notes of toasted dried fruit. The mouthfeel is totally balanced, still a bit squared off, very tasty and long. The persistence is good but not excellent. Then again this could change with time and this wine has a nice life ahead of it.
