The last great year for the area (although those who worked well in 2013 will have very incisive and tasty wines, even if they will not be perfect expressions of the grape). Already tasting the first samples a couple of years ago it was clear that the quality level of this wine was very high. This is an example of the winery’s style at its best and is very, very sober. The wine has a typical note of sea water along with all the other traits. The structure is what it should be and the finish is distinct yet at the same time modulated and with a pleasing streak of salted fennel. A wine of great class that recalls two amazing Misco Riserva of the past, 2005 and, above all, 2004. The latter was a true masterpiece, absurdly undervalued at the time and will certainly still be exceptional. This 2010 still needs a couple of years to reach its peak after which it will have a long life.
