Messorio 2008

Made from Merlot from the younger vines in the Puntone and Vignone vineyards and aged in classic barriques, 75% of which are new wood. The color is an intense and very bright ruby while the bouquet is clear and fresh with notes of eucalyptus, mint leaves and some nice cherry. The spice component, including cinchona and vanilla extract, is present but integrated into the note of dark fruit. The mouthfeel is very relaxed and elegant without any muscular excesses with a fine finish.
