Message in a Bottle Spumante Brut

A blend if 85% Vermentino and 15% Chardonnay made using the Charmat Method that confirms how Vermentino can withstand hydro and climatic stress, while the Chardonnay gives the wine body and substance. The effervescence is delicate and the bouquet has citrus sensations with clear iodine nuances accompanying a floral motif of robinia and jasmine on a background of pineapple, mango and crispy apple. The mouthfeel is creamy and fresh yet endowed with a good persistence and a saline finish with notes of thyme and mint that lighten the sweetness and prologue the aftertaste. A simple yet surprisingly very pleasing wine which compared to so many ‘anonymous’ alternatives has the added advantage of having the signature of Sting on the cork (along with the SOS acronym) and the bottle.
