Massimo 2006

Limited to only 600 bottles and dedicated to Massimo Losappio, its color is very intense and dark. The nose is decidedly fruity, with blackberry, black currant, cacao and caramel that gives its silhouette a modern touch. The scents of spice are very clear, in particular cloves and cinnamon. A muscular wine, almost excessively strong, while the tannin aspect is excellent and in the mouth I'd venture to say it is even sumptuous, with a structure that is nicely upheld by an acidity that makes it agile. The finish is fresh and very persistent. The retro-nasal return is again spicy with a very clear black fruit.
