Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Castello di Semivicoli 2009

The color is a bright, pale gold while the aroma is fruity, perhaps more citrus with citron, in particular, along with medlar and white peach. The mouthfeel is taut, agile, brackish, almost tart, with a truly wonderful freshness and a nice persistence.
Serve at 10°C with scallops au gratin and spaghetti with egg and cheese.
The rating of this wine should rise even higher after it ages a couple of years in the bottle.
