Made from Trebbiano d’Abruzzo grapes. It is less rich than the 2007, but very well-balanced. It was the first to be made without Gianni’s presence, but Romeo Taraborrelli, the company’s oenologist, has succeeded in making a great wine. It is straw yellow in colour and very fruity on the nose, with very precise, fragrant notes of medlars and white peaches dominating its olfactory profile. It is tangy, supple and very attractive on the palate, with an almost saline finish.
