Made from Trebbiano d’Abruzzo grapes. I don’t know if one could expect anything more from a Trebbiano d’Abruzzo. This comes from a hot vintage, but the interpretation of the year it has been given by Gianni Masciarelli is absolutely impeccable. A brilliant straw yellow in colour, it offers a complex, well-knit nose in which one finds alternating sensations of white peaches, citron, wild flowers, lime and greengages. It is powerful yet tight on the palate, with splendid acidity that counterbalances the softness from the alcohol and glycerine and gives it a long, harmonious finish. Very close to being a work of art.
