Made from Trebbiano d’Abruzzo grapes. The product of a rich, hot vintage, it has an intense golden yellow colour and a broad, slightly alcoholic nose, with notes of white peaches, medlars and gentian flowers. It is mellow and potent on the palate, with plenty of glycerine that makes it free of any harshness, but also a tiny bit one-dimensional, with a finish that is fairly long, but also hot and alcoholic. It has more body than finesse, but this is in line with the characteristics of the year.
