Marchese di Villa Marina 2006

This wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and has a very deep ruby color. The aroma opens with scents of ripe fruit and spices that bounce between myrtle, humus and black cherry. The shifting smoky and toasted scent is seductive and insinuates a balsamic component that, in the mouth, leaves room for excellent tannins and a balanced body that is not muscular. It finishes with a return of myrtle and fruit that accompanies a long persistence. Serve at 18°C with some duck in sweet and sour sauce.
