The color now is a garnet-ruby with no noticeable difference on the edge. The aroma is very complex with notes of licorice, as always, next to scents of sweet tobacco and spice that could be deceiving, making you believe it was no aged in wood. The mouthfeel is rich, almost sweet and even a bit tannic. It has a pungent freshness and slightly bitter finish. Even though this is the product of a hot year, it remains quite complete.
