The color is a garnet of medium intensity with a slightly brick edge. The aromas are articulated, nicely complex, with scents of cinchona and licorice and some very clear balsamic accents which then shift towards the typical aromatic bouquet of Malvasia Nera. The flavor is full and hearty, with an excellent sapidity and tannins that are quite settled, all creating a most drinkable and pleasing drop. The finish is a tad bitter but not overly so.
