The motto of this winery in Castrovillari is ‘’excellence is our standard’’. And, in fact, Tenute Ferrocino is distinguished by its excellent wines made from local as well as international grapes with the use of indigenous yeasts to maintain the identity of both the grape and the territory. The estate has 123 hectares vineyards and olive groves. This wine is 100% Magliocco that undergoes cold macerated and is fermented in steel to ensure the wine maintains the special qualities of the grape.
Its ruby-red color has a purple edge and refined and distinct aromas of ripe prune and cherry, wild berries and red rose. The mouthfeel is rich in extracts, fresh and slightly tannic with a lasting flavor and nice personality.
