Madonna del Piano 2009

This single 2009 bottle was included because it demonstrated how even in a difficult year skill can produce an excellent wine. It has a decidedly concentrated ruby color and an extremely floral bouquet with intense notes of white cherry and blond tobacco. The mouthfeel is excellently balanced with settled tannins and a refreshing acidity that is never isolated. The sensation at the center of the mouth is good and the finish had excellent persistence.
