Lunalonga 2011

Guido Rizzotto has been making wine for exactly 20 years, from grapes grown in his 13 hectares of vineyards. Helping him do this are his children Laura and Luca, the latter an enologist. His Soave Classico Lunalonga is his winery’s second wine in regard to prestige but this particular one, coming from a difficult year like 2011, was quite remarkable. The aroma has notes of white fruit, especially peach, and hawthorn flowers. The mouthfeel is nicely fresh, with a taut balance given by the salty components that make is particularly elegant. The finish has a nice length.
