Made from Sangiovese grapes. A cool year. The color is an intense ruby without any garnet nuances. Then aroma is distinctly fruity, whole, youthful, with notes of black cherry, black currant, blackberry and vanilla. Then taste is delicate and composed, with less body but pleasing and clean, like a grade-A student not interested in being muscular. The finish is subtle but warm.
