Lombrone 2006

Made from Sangiovese grapes. The garnet color is more intense and concentrated. The aroma is almost balsamic with notes of mint then black cherry under spirits and cacao. The ethereal, alcoholic scents are already complex and articulated. The body is excellent, the product of an great year - as it was for Montalcino - rich, bold and well supported by a refreshing acidity with many delicate tannins and a warm and long finish.
