This delicious and surprising Sicilian white is a blend of Catarratto, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and aromatic Traminer grapes. It is made by Lucio Tasca d'Almerita and his sons, Alberto and Giuseppe, who produce it in Regaleali, today a 500-hectare estate. The color is a clear, golden-yellow while the bouquet is almost aromatic with spicy accents along with scents of citron and rose, The flavor is salty, full-bodied and fresh. Drink it cool, no more than 8°C, with seafood and shellfish.
