Le Stinche Vigna Castello di Lamole 2008

Lamole is in the township of Greve in Chianti, in an area that has an altitude of 650m. The name of the biotype here is Sangiovese Polveroso (dusty) which has large grapes and sparse bunches and is a little short on tannins.
The nose is delicately floral and balsamic, vertical yet rare, with notes of incense and aromatic herbs, thyme and a whiff of powder. The mouthfeel is subtle and very acidic, pleasingly mineral and with balsamic after-aromas and a savory finish.
