Here we move on to a different grape, a noble and almost extinct indigenous one from Campania: Pallagrello. It was quite fashionable back in the Bourbon Neapolitan Court but then fell out of use to become almost forgotten. Today it is being rediscovered and is on the rebound. Le Sèrole has a high alcoholic content that is unnoticeable thanks to the extremely precise use of new barriques as well as for the wine’s rewarding, multifaceted flavor that makes it very drinkable. It was a shame that the aroma fell a little below expectations because it could have strived to be reach different heights.
