Le Pergole Torte 2006

Made from Sangiovese grapes. An extraordinary year. The ruby color has a garnet edge. The bouquet is multifaceted, scents of aromatic herbs, laurel, myrtle on a spice background. This is followed by a ferrous scents, underbrush, spicy puffs and a floral fragrance that shifts towards fruit jam and, later, in almost medicinal scents. The taste opens the door to a vibrant synergy between silky tannins and a pronounced acidity. The finish is long with a return of fruit and floral sensations of morello cherry and violet.
