Le Nicchie 2012

A 100% Barbera that ages in barriques after malolactic fermentation. It has a dark color and a clear and intense bouquet with notes of dark fruit, blueberry, maple sap and youthful spice. The wine has a distinctly muscular attack with a lot of texture and lively yet pleasing tannins and the right acidity. Because it is so young, the wine needs to age more in the bottle but already demonstrates enormous potential.
