Le Mont Premièr Trie Molleux 1996

Made only from Chenin grapes from the Loire Valley, this wine is absolutely surprising and extraordinarily pleasing. It has an intense golden color with a spectacular luminosity and aging has given it an exceptional aromatic profile. Notes of baked apple stand out in the bouquet which is embellished by those of ginger and turmeric along with scents of passion fruit gelatin and a delicious sensation of toasted bread while a hint of spice emerges with breathing. The mouthfeel is sweet yet taut, rich and soft with a great finish.
