Riesling del Lazio 2016

Made from Rhine Riesling grapes from a vineyard that has a very rocky soil and a southwest exposure. After a soft pressing, the juice macerates on the skins and is then fermented under controlled temperatures. The wine matures on the lees for six months and then ages in the bottle for four months. The color is a rather pale, straw-yellow with green reflections and the aroma has lovely notes of ripe, white fruit and cut grass. The dry mouthfeel has a nice freshness and discreet persistence but may lack some structure, some pulp.
