A homage to the eastern area of Montalcino that catches the eye with its intense yet not exaggerated ruby color. The aroma is classic with its ripe cherry while everything is enriched by an interesting but not overbearing spicy streak. This is followed by a nice floral note. Although this was such a hot season the acidity is surprising. The tannin is extremely settled and this ensures an intense and persistent taste and a finish that is consistent and had great personality.
