Slightly garnet in color on the edge of the glass, it then unfolds into a most authentic and classic version of the wine. The nose plays on tones of incipient maturity rather than an intense fruit. Thus after the standard morello cherry we find intense notes of yellow peach, tobacco and a decided floral scent of oleander and violet. The flavor is elegant thanks to an excellent tannin that has already evolved and a nice acidity that in no way compromises the wine's structure. The finish becomes even more refined and elegant by an incredible persistence.
