Le Battistelle 2011

This is a very pleasing Soave of average complexity that is very easy to drink. It is produced by a small, very artisanal winery. The harvest was quite late for the year (but the vineyards are quite high up) and the aroma has notes of aromatic herbs along with those of green plum and citron. The mouthfeel is fresh, with a medium body and a finish that has a touch of almond, extremely typical, although it is not very long.
