Lazzarito -Vigna La Delizia 2004

This is another really fine interpretation. Different from the ’01, this is all about even more rarefied elegance on both the nose and palate. Even the colour is more typically Nebbiolo-like. It is a more austere Barolo. Even though it has a lively brilliance, it is less domineering; you have to give it time, but in the end it wins you over with its really exemplary coherence, with almost damp notes of truffles and underbrush.
