Lazzarito -Vigna La Delizia 2001

Oh, finally we’re getting serious and starting to play tough. The palate is immediately extremely potent and balsamic, with notes of cinchona and chocolate and concentrated yet elegant tannins. This is a luminous, appealing and very dark Barolo that is perhaps a little austere, with a powerful bouquet of perfumes that make it hard for you to tear your nose away. I really liked it an awful lot.
