This too is a bit reduced to begin with, but it soon cleans up to make way for a really intriguing nose that isn’t simplistic or even predictable. The palate isn’t quite so good: it’s slightly unfocused and almost one-dimensional, with cacao as its main sensation. It is illuminated by its colour, which screams Nebbiolo from every molecule.
