Latour a Civitella 2006

The color is a transparent golden while the nose expresses its evolution with toasted notes, aromatic herbs, wilted flowers and ripe fruit including papaya, pineapple and dates. The bouquet then opens further with scents of honey and beeswax and a background that is slightly balsamic and peaty. The mouthfeel is buttery and fatter, having lost its youthful nervousness while at the same time maintaining a distinct acidic component that balances an almost tannic note from the skin.
