Lampo Morellino di Scansano Docg 2010

Here 15% of the blend is from Ciliegiolo grapes and the wine is aged 8-9 months in barriques. The color is a bold ruby while the bouquet is very fruity: blueberry, blackberry, cherry but also tobacco, caramel and those scents reminiscent of a mountain forest. The clearness of the aroma is echoed in the flavor, rich but still quite soft, with a nice acidity and settled tannins. Tobacco and caramel return in the aftertaste after a nice finish.
