A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Fer Servadou that matured in large barrels. The wine has a deep, black-ruby color with garnet reflections and the bouquet is an authentic broadside of medicinal herbs and a deluge of earthy and balsamic notes. It is impossible to pin down because it is a mix between Fernet Branca, Barolo Chinato and Fisherman’s Friend held together under an umbrella of damp earth speckled with black pepper. The full mouthfeel has robust tannins and amazing notes of roots at the center of the mouth while the aftertaste has sensations of sweet licorice and is boldly balsamic. If you like it you will love it. Importers be warned.
