A great wine although a tad warmer than the previous vintage and even if it may be a bit fluttering it still is fantastic. Its typical color is very concentrated and has purple reflections. The broad aroma is captivating and decidedly complex with a classic fruit vein of nicely ripe blackberry and currant and a hint of mulberry. The smoked note is very lovely with spices, cacao and cumin, all enriched by a touch of medicinal herbs. The attack of the flavor is excellent, rich, and immediately offers great volume and progression, perfectly upheld by the acidity. The taste progression is also excellent and leads to a finish that perfectly corresponds to the aroma and the super persistence avoids any sweetness.
