The youthful color is very lovely with intense and dark purple reflections, while the aroma makes a great impact with its dense fruit scents of blackberry, currant, blueberry and cranberry. The floral component of violet and oleander is excellent and compliments a captivating and very elegant smoked note. The mouthfeel has nice structure and elegance with thick and compact tannins. A real Piedmont wine, austere and complex, with an acidity that upholds and gives elegance to the excellent extracts. The progression is wonderful and culminates in a truly broad and very consistent finish. Fantastic.
