La Court 2005

This was a bit disappointing considering the level of the other wines. The color was a classic ruby tending towards purple, very bright and intact. The aroma was linear on slightly vegetal notes and the fruit was present but not completely ripe, while the wood was a little too obvious with caramel and toasted notes. Nevertheless, there was a very interesting, mild resin and balsamic streak. The taste was elegant and very drinkable but lacked a little pressure at the center of the mouth. The finish was good with its balsamic note.
