The weather this year resulted in a style closer to a wine from across the ocean. The fruit in the aroma is jammy with distinct coffee notes, while a light balsamic vein fails to thin out the warm notes. This made the bouquet somewhat monotonous. The mouthfeel is robust thanks to the extracts and progression even if there is an insistent and slightly heady note. The taste is rich and captivating but due to a weak acidity a bit too relaxed. The finish is consistent, tasty and plays a lot on ripe fruit, while persistence is good.
