A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay that has pink salmon hues and orange reflections created by the addition to the white L’Intemporelle cuvée of some Pinot Noir vin de reserves that macerated on the skins, the grapes coming vines that have an average age of 40 years. The wine is made in stainless steel where it undergoes malolactic fermentation to then sit on the lees for at least six years before being given a dosage of 8g/l. The refined bouquet is a mix of nuances of wild strawberry, raspberry, nectarines, fresh figs, almond and barley. The mouthfeel is refreshing and fruity with harmonious citrus sensations of tangerine and bergamot combined with the intensity of underbrush notes on a structure with delicate spice, black tea and some delicious rhododendron honey. The finish is luminous and bracing and closes with a delicately saline hint. Bottle number 6,698/10,337.
