As we all remember 2003 was an incredibly hot year. We also know that the cultivation methods for Kurni are extreme and it was thanks to these extremes that the wine was protected from the consequences of the weather. Thus here is a 2003 which has absolutely not been ‘cooked’ nor is it jammy or dead. Obviously, one does notice the extreme ripening a little but overall this is a truly good vintage which has stood the test of time very well.
