This was another bad-weather year, one that could be defined as a real soaker. Very few wines in Italy did not suffer and this is one of them, for the same reasons why it was protected in 2003. It has a floral aroma, dominated by violet, and a rotund but very fine, long mouthfeel with sensations of cinnamon and cacao.
