It is difficult to identify the exact age of a Krug vintage. Having acquired this in the mid-1990s, I assume it is from that period. This has a splendid, incisive golden color and inebriating aromas of pan brioche and Chantilly whipped cream with a distinct “Krug dosage”. The mouthfeel has a vigor that few other wines can match and is absolutely amazing thanks to its residual freshness and capacity to please.
