Made from Sangiovese (45%), Syrah (35%) and Montepulciano (20%) grapes, it ages for 12 months, 1/3 in barrique and 2/3 in stainless steel tank, then further 12 months in bottle. Very dark ruby red and very young color. Wonderful aromas of strawberry juice, then a slight hint of leather, thick tannins to the palate, bitter but not astringent and a good ending of hay and fruit.
