Il Poggio Riserva 1974

A very bright and intense ruby-garnet color. The nose is ethereal, enveloping, intense, with memories of fruit, black cherry, then cacao, tobacco, a touch of vanilla, intricate and very integral. The tannins are noticeable and quite severe, only slightly resolved, an excellent acidity upholds an austere taste profile, elegant, even bold and aristocratic. The finish is warm and long. The first vintage with 100% Sangiovese.
