A clear and lively garnet color. The aroma is intricate and evolved, nicely layered, incredibly integral. Ethereal scents of cacao, leather, fumé, traces of wild strawberry, then tar and accents of mineral and botrytis mushroom. The flavor is solid, savory, nicely upheld by its acidity, agile, elegant and subtle, a taut balance, tannins that are hardly noticeable, and a long finish. It has 30% white grapes alongside the Sangiovese and Canaiolo and was aged in chestnut barrels. It adhered to the rules set at the time by the Tuscan 'powers that be'. Price: N/A
