The wine is named after the Nibbio Reale, the black kite bird of prey that symbolizes elegance and sumptuousness. Initially, it was a blend of Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Cesanese, the percentages of which changed according to the quality of the harvest, but it has since evolved into a pure Sangiovese wine. The aroma has notes of small red fruits and black cherry along with distinct floral scents, above all violet, highlighted by hints of sweet spice. The mouthfeel has a nice intensity with tannins that open to a pleasing softness. The finish is persistent with a return of fruity notes with a balsamic touch.
