Il Colombaio 2011 Garda Classico Groppello

From the hills overlooking the southwest coast of Lake Garda, Ruggero Brunori and Andrea Salvetti produce a series of wines all made from bio-dynamically-grown grapes. This Garda Classico Groppello Il Colombaio is the freshest and youngest red of the selection. Made from Groppello grapes, it has a vibrant ruby color, scents of blackberry and blackcurrant and a balanced flavor, nicely upheld by a typically salty acidity. Serve at 16°C, good with grilled white meat.
