This small producer (in all four hectares of vineyards) makes his red in stainless steel with Merlot grapes mostly from Castel San Pietro. The wine is simple yet extremely pleasing. It has a ruby color with some purple reflections and it is almost grapey and intense with fruit notes of currant, raspberry and blueberry. The mouthfeel is intense and fresh with a medium body and just a bit soft, making it a straightforward wine with an extremely consistent flavor-aroma.
