Made from Sangiovese grapes and matured in large and tonneau barrels for 24-30 months. The wine has an intense ruby color with garnet reflections and a rich and intense aroma with notes of black cherry, a touch of vanilla and hints of medicinal herbs. The mouthfeel has a thick texture with young tannins that are crispy and well-integrated while the progression is constant and juicy with a balanced acidity that keeps everything in check. The finish is consistent, fruity and persistent. The more muscular side of the cru’s soul.
