This was a miracle considering the weather that year. The color is an intact, straw-yellow and the classic bouquet also has scents that are more warm and ripe, with saffron standing out along with ‘redder’ notes, followed by those of white peach and ripe medlar. The flavor is engaging with a lovely minerality even if the mouthfeel has less depth and is softer. The progression is good and the freshness relaxing and there is a return of saffron in the finish with its excellent persistence.
