The product of a controversial year and while the color is decidedly off it still has green reflections. The bouquet recalls the scents of the cold north with citron, clear and intense variations of grapefruit and only a hint of terpene, and finishes on a note of anise. The mouthfeel is different from the others and while the attack is still intense, it is sweeter with a fresh acidic note that does not lessen the extra sweetness. The weight and volume are good at the center of the mouth and in the finish there is an insistent return of the various grapefruit sensations. The persistence is excellent.
